Crossroads Food Pantry relies on volunteers and donations to feed those who are hungry in the northwest corner of Pearl River County. We are committed to serving God by serving others.
Healthy Food Distributions
Crossroads Food Pantry is open every other Wednesday from 9:00 am – 11:30 am to distribute healthy food to anyone in need. Food is donated by individuals or provided by Feeding the Gulf Coast. At each distribution, a dozen volunteers come to the pantry to sort and distribute food to more than 70 households. In 2019, the pantry distributed more than 36,700 meals to nearly 5,000 individuals in need, 52% of which were children and seniors.
We Care Meals
Through the We Care Meals Program, volunteers at Crossroads Food Pantry prepare and deliver meals to clients who are unable to leave their homes. Every Wednesday, volunteers prepare meals for up to 15 individuals, the majority of whom are elderly and cannot come to the pantry for food. Deliveries are made on the same day the meals are prepared. In 2019, we delivered 293 meals through this program.
